The only problem is that tickets are free. Their pay is subsidized by the men's game.

The WNBA pay is subsidized by the NBA too. The WNBA only grossed $25 million last year. Not a $25 million profit, they only made $25 million. The NBA made $6 billion.

It's weird, women's college basketball does respectable ratings during March Madness. But nobody has ever wanted to watch the pros.
