And this should probably be in the movie thoughts thread but, oh well:
I recently watched Blazing saddles for like the 30th time, but this time in ultra HD. And I've finally come to the conclusion that's it's overrated.

Now before people lynch me, let me finish! I still love the movie, and I get it, and it's still hilarious. It's just not deserving to be near the top of the funniest movie of all time lists.
The problem with it is that Mel Brooks had funnier movies than Blazing Saddles in the 60's, and the 70's, and the 80's, and the 90's... And the 00's.

I adore the entire body of the mans lifetime of work, and while blazing saddles is still better than say Life stinks or 12 chairs or history of the world. It's just not as funny as well... Practically anything else.

Those movies are pre-orders at JB. They aren't out until December 4th here.

Apparently it's pretty good though. Some complaints of AI use but overall people seem happy with it.

I've visited my uncles house for Deadpool and wolverine.

I bought 1 and 2 on 4K when they came out, and I would have bought Deadpool and wolverine on 4K when I saw it cheap ($35 or less) but Disney aren't doing discs here anymore and by the time I got it from overseas it would be catastrophically expensive... So I had to get it another way.

Disney still release all the merchandise, and Funko pops and the god damn soundtrack on fucking vinyl, but we can't even own the movie all the shit is based on. Hurr!!

If every other movie streaming on top tier Disney plus is anything to go by, it will look atrocious. Even with a 245mbps internet connection.

Also visited uncle for Futurama. I'll buy literally anything Futurama, it's like fucking catnip for me... But I can't buy season 8 or 9, so what else was I supposed to do? Gonna make my own DVD and VHS releases, with Blackjack and hookers! In fact, forget the DVD, VHS and blackjack!
