Wow. That's heaps earlier than I was thinking. That's a huge surprise. Maybe they aren't fussed about one last lot of original switch sales.

I do like Mario Kart Forza Horizon.
And Mario Party.
And remake of breath of the wild.
And 4K Metroid.
And gameshare.
And top and bottom USB ports.
And physical and estore backwards compatibility.
And F-ZERO GX.
And GameCube controller. (With its proper god damn triggers)

The pro controller looks like it only has shoulder buttons.. Huge let down if no analogue triggers.

Don't really like Nintendo Switch 2 discord.
Or Nintendo switch 2 PlayStation eyetoy.
Or Nintendo Astros playroom.
Or laggy looking mouse functionality.
Or Wheelchair basketball.
Or more Hyrule warriors crap.
Or most of the 3rd party crap.
Or Segas worst ever representation of all time.

Meh, I'll wait for $300 like I did with the original switch.

Honestly the only single practical use I could see for dual mouse mode would be a remake of Star Wars Episode 1: Racer.

I loved that in the arcade, and even then it would need a bracket to help define the limitations of acceleration.

Get it for Christmas, by then you'll have time to save, and there will be stock. This is going to be scalped harder than the Wii was. The massive price won't put anyone off.

By then I can probably wait much longer than that, we'll have 1000% tariffs on Asian products It's that preorder excitement that I get caught up in so after that I can hold off for a long time. Between an Xbox Series S, Steam Deck and PC, I end up playing Unciv on my phone or classic Mega Man/Sonic games on the Xbox.

Nintendo seems to have finally learned how to coast on its own success. The DK game looks like fun too.
