He was a good journalist. I watched his PBS show during the Bush years and first Obama administration before Bill retired.

I wasn't a big fan of the 2 Fantastic Four movies but I liked him.
Such a shame

That's why I don't have any guns myself. I don't like the idea of handling anything that powerful in my house. What I like is going to a gun range with friends and target practice. If I lived out in the country and had more space, I'd feel a little bit better about keeping a rifle and shotgun. We'll see with the sheriff's report about how "incomprehensible" the accident was, though.

AWWW..
it's hard to forget that outside of the large, and seemingly endless retarded reality tv phase, he was actually a musician once before that, and fortunately, again before he died.
I'll put on a record in his honour. And listen to this while I dig the vinyl out.

Only heard news of the concerts Blu-Ray/DVD/digital release earlier & was dissaponted it would be a cut down version, I can only hope that any planned future release comes in full, much like the live aid one from back in the day, in tribute. Got Planet Rock on & the news just mentioned it & predictably tonights schedule has now shifted to be Ozzy based, the Prince of Darkness has gone home & will be missed, hopefully he's sharing a brew with Dio

OK the Planet Rock show has just bizzarly had the first celeb reaction & it was from Flavor Flav with reference to the R&R hall of fame induction, Ozzy crossed boundries it seems.
Tonights changed schedule on Planet Rock if anyone wants to check out the Ozzy tribute stuff tonight, or indeed on the listen again feature at soem point, also tomorrow is altering to be extremely Ozzy heavy (no pun intended) for those of you that may wish to listen on the streaming from the PR site
Planet Rock will be paying tribute to Ozzy Osbourne tonight with some special programming:
8-9pm: Darren Redick presents an hour of Ozzy and Sabbath music + your memories
9-10pm: Ozzy Osbourne - In Memoriam special
10pm - 1am: Mark Jeeves with more of your Ozzy memories

The first time I saw Ozzy was the No More Tears music video when it was on MTV all the time when I was 7. He gave me the creeps and I liked it.

Hell yeah that album rocked too. It reminds me of when my brother went through a big Ozzy phase in high school. My gym teacher played it a lot too, that and Jet City Woman by Queensryche.Bandit wrote: Wed Jul 23, 2025 6:54 am The first time I saw Ozzy was the No More Tears music video when it was on MTV all the time when I was 7.
