Now it's free, a lot of people are trying it and hate it. Makes sense.

I dunno how many borderlands fans you know Zoidberg, but the series is probably the most overhyped game series of all time.

Not bad games (I've only played 1 and a few hours of 2) but nowhere near as good as what any given borderlands fan would endlessly and loudly suggest.

I only ever clicked with Borderlands 2. The assassin class was so much fun, I liked the stealth mechanic. It was something where you had a 5-second countdown on a cloak, but you could extend the time with each enemy kill. It basically turned the game into a manic platformer where I'd scramble around trying to backstab everyone. Multiplayer was pretty good because my friends liked to play as the tank shooty guy with a turret, so they were a distraction while I parkoured around.

I hated every other class and never got into the other games. Shit, thinking about it makes me want to play again. The shitty dialog is a big turnoff.
