PC Engine Core Grafx II
Rockman X2 (Super Famicom)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (Steam)
Brotato (Steam)
Humble Bundle Spaced Out Bundle (The Outer Worlds + DLC, Breathedge, Journey to the Savage Planet etc.)
Humble Bundle Masterful Modern 3D Platformers Bundle (Hell Pie, A Hat In Time etc.)
Turbo Everdrive (PCE/TG16 flash card. The cheap Aliexpress version)
Retroscaler 2x (Cheap AliX knockoff of one of the older RetroTink scalers)
Ace3DS X card

My brother went to Japan the other week and got me a working PC Engine and Rockman X2. He got a Famicom, HTC Vive and some Neo Geo AES games for himself. He also got a cheap 3DS, which I said I would hack, but it turns out it's an old 3DS, which makes it a bit harder to hack which is why I bought the Ace3DS X.

Nice! I feel like it's a legal requirement for anyone who goes to Japan to get a Famicom because of how insanely cheap they are.
Last person I knew who went paid $12 for one and a few decent games.
What were the AES games?

Also. Where is Silverback? Was he a victim of losing his username and posts?

KOF 96 and Fatal Fury 2.

He was hoping to find a cheap AES over there, but didn't, so bought a not so cheap one off ebay.

Busy with work, GF etc.

When he was in Japan he went to this place:

I got a green millennium 2000 Dreamcast controller.

I plan to clean up the shell and cable, remove the white millenium text on the front entirely and swap the internals and VMU window with my pretty much brand new PAL controller.

Then it can go with my green VMU and I will be slightly happier than not having a PAL green controller.

Super Mario Bros Wonder (Switch)
Mafia: Definitive Edition (Steam)
Super Woden GP 2 (Steam)
Humble Bundle Action Roguelikes: What Kills You Makes You Stronger bundle (Steam)

Super Woden GP 2 is like an isometric version of Gran Turismo. It's pretty good fun.

I bought a very very cheap Wii because I wanted to play Mario kart Wii again.

It's not as good as I remember it. Double dash still holds up better.

Since I have the Wii I'll probably play the house of the dead remakes to see if they're good and may get around to modding it.
I know modding a Wii is just looking at it angrily for a few minutes, and once opened up is a really useful console, but I am lazy and have other games to play.

Steam Deck 512GB (should keep my gaming going if I go away anywhere, dont think £360 was too bad for that model though the Asus ROG Ally at £549.00 on the official page is tempting, only 50 quid more than a second hand one & with 3 monthsof game pass)
Oled Switch Mario Kart edition (still sealed, not bad for a find at Cash Converters, though the £280 it cost will be eclipsed by building a game collection, sales & the like here I come)

Bleem for Dreamcast. Gran Turismo 2.

this was one of the things I never actually had for Dreamcast, so it was time.

Now if anyone knows how I can contact Rand, I have a great idea! They should make a new bleem that does every PS1 game for Dreamcast!

I forgot to post my recent pickups. I got a cheap Dreamcast. It was filthy, but fully working and the first reasonably priced one I've seen for a long time. ($125 with 2 controllers, official bag, sonic adventure, a VCD disc and a power cable)
Cleaned up quite nice.

Dreamcast 2024 wall calendar. (January is Shenmue)

And The Tower for Sega Saturn NTSC-J. I've played it lots before, but It was cheap and I adore Yoot Saito games, it will go next to my Big Box Windows copy of Sim Tower.

Even when Yoot Saito isn't making tower building and management simulators, he's making batshit insane games you can't help but like.

Legendary game, and extremely addicting on a handheld. It's up there with Tetris in terms of addictiveness.

I haven't posted in here for a while but I have been getting things, just not a huge amount. Can't remember all of it though.

Hogwarts Legacy (PS5)
TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection (Switch)
Dragon Quest Builders 1 & 2 (Steam)
Humble Heroines Bundle (Eastward, Wanted: Dead, A Plague Tale etc.) (Steam)

From the recycle centre I got these:

Wii complete system $25
Wii Black (just the system) $10
PS3 super slim (just the system) $20
Xbox One (just the system) $25

The Wii works. It had a Wii Sports disc in the drive.

The Wii black works but won't read discs. I'll hack that one eventually.

The PS3 works and came with a 500GB HDD. I've added HEN and have been ripping games to it. It's the main thing I've been playing of late. They had a heap of PS3s at the shop, so next time I go I'll grab a couple of more.

The Xbox One works. FIFA 22 was in the drive.
