Amazing port and the controls work really well on that version too.

Lotus II (Mega Drive)

FIFA International Soccer (Mega Drive)

NBA Live 95 (Mega Drive)

An el cheapo lot off ebay. Only really wanted Lotus II but getting all 3 was cheaper than the cheapest loose cart of Lotus II by itself by a few bucks.

Normally I try to get MD games boxed but I'm not really bothered with those three.

Yeah it is really good. Hired it once or twice back in the 90s.

Smash TV is one of those games which is often overlooked when retro games are discussed. Interesting point regarding this I played the SNES ROM recently and the game froze. When it rebooted itself it loaded the game ROMs ala when a mame game runs so whether it was a direct arcade conversation or not I'm not sure. But I've never noticed a SNES/Super Famicom load ROMs ala an arcade machine would. If it does it again I'll try and screenshot it.

Just wondering if Megadrive and MasterSystem cases are the same, has anyone tried swapping them over? I'm looking for a new MD case but the only cheapo cases I've seen are EA sports titles, SMS games are dirt cheap in the UK though.

Just put a Shinobi MS case next to a Wonderboy MD case and they are the same size so the cover should be fine. The MD cart was a little loose in the MS box but not too bad.

Nintendo Classic Mini: NES

NES Classic Mini Controller

Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories (PSP)

Preordered the mini NES + pad from EB. Only had to put $20 deposit on them and can pay the rest in November.

I also bought this magazine yesterday, which was nice timing a few hours before the mini NES announcement:

Essentially I bought Pokemon Picross. I like it enough that I just bought the 5000 units of in game currency so I don't have to wait between rounds. (after 5000 the currency is free.)

I bought it a couple months ago. It's crazy addictive and even after many hours with the game, I didn't even come close to finishing it all. Only part I didn't care for was the Alt World. I had trouble wrapping my head around it.
