So I've been exposed to a bit of footy lately while being social. I'm now invested in it because when Collingwood look like they might lose, they always lose and usually badly. But weirdly, they're winning a bunch of close matches.

I saw the last 10 minutes of the past 2 wins and have just been informed about last nights win.

Apparently a Melbourne player was talking shit on the radio about how the pies are a one trick pony.

Melbourne were second on the ladder.

Collingwoods one trick paid off and they beat Melbourne to take second on the ladder. Which is just hilarious. But you can just count the days till Geelong smash them right out of the finals.

I hope Melbourne and Collingwood meet again in the finals because there will be an all in brawl, and footy has been missing epic fights since the 90's. Even better than a good game of footy is a good punch on either at the start of the match or half time.

The player that said we are one trick ponies was Ed Langdon, who got booed all night because of it.

In a shocking decision, the AFL are going to have the grand final replayed but with Collingwood instead of Sydney.
Because even though Collingwood would have lost by an embarassing margin, at least they would have turned up to play the game.

Better to not make it to the final by a single point than lose a final by 8 million.

Ian and I know his Uncle. Much of the family barracks for Collingwood. I grew up with them on a Black and White television. Twasn’t until we got a colour television when I was about six that I learned that every other team had colours except Collingwood.

I know we make big comebacks a lot but being 28 points behind at 3/4 time and not playing that well, things didn't look good. But that last quarter was epic.

It also explains why the neighbours got louder than usual just before dinner last night.
