A lot of artists do last shows, or retirement tours and I feel nothing.
But this does make me sad, and even sadder that I can't be there. I've always resonated with a lot of Jeff's music.

Why is Jeff Lynne calling it quits? He looks younger today than he did in his 20's. Surely he has worked out the secret to immortality and could be doing shows for the rest of eternity?

He's right. Last year you had at least 5 huge hits that you could argue for. And one of them (A Bar Song) is still in the top 10 right now after 67 weeks. So you could argue Shaboozey had the biggest song of the summer two years in a row.

Going by the US/UK/Aus charts, it looks like Bieber's new song is big, but it's more of a mellow pop song than a club banger.
