Well? You gonna tell us what you got?
I ended up just getting a better motherboard for my i5-3570k so I can overclock it from 3.4 to 3.6. :olol: Kidding!

GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER DirectX 12 GV-N166SGAMING-6GD 6GB 192-Bit GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card

MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI Gaming Motherboard AMD AM4 SATA 6Gb/s M.2 USB 3.2 Gen 2 HDMI ATX Expensive as shit I know but oh well. I always cheap out on the motherboard and since I plan on this system lasting for many years I got this one. Plus it was only like $40 more compared to the cheapest one. I consider this highly expensive but some motherboards are like $700! What kind of madman is buying those?

AMD RYZEN 5 3600X 6-Core 3.8 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 95W 100-100000022BOX Desktop Processor

G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600) Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB

RAIDMAX HYBRID 2 RX-530SS 530W ATX12V V2.2/ EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Modular Power Supply, New Version with Build-in LED Fan On/Off Switch

Well what do you think?
It doesn't seem like that long ago I posted this, but it has somehow been nearly 5 years! I'm still running the exact same PC. I've had to replace the power supply and have added/removed storage here and there but it is still the same Ryzen 5 3600x 16GB DDR4 3200 1660 Super havin' PC it was 5 years ago. Still working fine and still plays new games at 1080p just fine. The newest game I thnk that I've played is Spiderman 2 which I think launched back in January.

I still have thoughts here and there of upgrading the GPU. If I could get a really good upgrade for $250 I'd seriously consider. I can't remember exactly but I feel like last time I looked $250 wouldn't get me much better than what I've got now.

There's not much at $250 new. The 4060 at $330 is the one to get. Maybe you can find it second hand closer to $250.

I don't know why I even want to upgrade the GPU. It's like I'm kidding myself. I barely game at all anymore and when I do it is usually old stuff. Most of my computer use is just web browsing.

Desktop is dead. Incidentally, there's a ryzen 3600x and 1660 super PC in my lounge that hasn't been touched this year.

I still play lots of games. And still tinker with lots of old computers for fun as well, but have hardly used my gaming PC for anything other than multimedia in 6 months.

Handhelds and consoles are just a better way to simply play a game.

Even various browsing is mostly on the phone and surface these days.
Can't remember the last time I looked at BG on my desktop even...
