Seems from the logo that they sell shoddy staplers that don't staple both sides properly.
Maybe they should get a swingline!

I just did some research on the logo. They have been using the logo Cal posted since 1994 and have never used a normal L in any of their logos.
Now to Cal's credit, they did introduce a new logo this year, but all they did was take the slant out of the word and changed to red text on a white background.

Yeah, I was gonna say. I went to a Circuit City (remember them?) to buy electronics for many years that was right next to a Staples. So I saw that sign constantly and it always had that L. 1994 or 1995 was the time it opened in the area, so Mel sounds right.

I know it isn't a new logo, I just wanted to see which way people here remembered it. I've been looking into the Mandela Effect recently.
