As a wuss who loves a wussy dome team, domes are great. We use the skywalks downtown to go from the hotel to stadium without stepping foot outside. For the 2018 divisional round, I stared out into a frozen hellscape while drinking a nice cranberry vodka to start the day.
But it sounds like the Browns plan puts them out of downtown, which is a "no from me dawg."
Did I have fun outside at the Gophers stadium when the Vikings played outside. Yes but I only went to one cold game. It hovered around 10-20°F and my back was frozen for an hour after I got back to the hotel.
Packers talk up a big game about real weather fans. But those stands are pretty empty in December if their record is under 12 wins, and Favre or Rodgers aren't on the field.

Eh, I understand why Minnesota has the dome. The northeast doesn't get snow like that until you go up to Buffalo. I don't remember a major blizzard here since 2010.
