I've tried playing Christmas nights..
I was instantly reminded that nights just isn't that good. Like every time I try to play a nights game.

I mean it looks pretty, and it's a great showcase for the 3D control... But the game (both normal and Christmas version) just isn't good beyond being a tech demo.

An overrated, complicated mess of no substance with one trick that you can fly around in circles.

I will try again in a few years because I want to like it and just hope that one day it will click and I'll get the point of it all.
