Thor is one of those YouTube channels I never thought I would need.

There may be a heir to the throne after all. A couple of months ago, LTT did a video about third-party upgrades for the Steam Deck -- and one of them was replacement hall effect sticks, from a company called GuliKit. Turns out they also make some controllers for PC and Switch with hall effect sticks. I'm so tempted now.

Maybe if Sega had made their controllers a bit crappier they'd still be in the hardware business.
My original DC pad still works perfectly after 21 years. In less than 4 years I've been through 2 switch pro controls and one Xbox one pad.
PS4 control worked perfectly when I sold it, but I only used it for like 500 hours.
And when a control dies I have to get another one. It was Segas biggest mistake. Even bigger than the DC not having an easily replaceable battery like the Saturn.
