I remember on The Screensavers Pat and Leo did "The first Terabyte Drive" they have several HDDs hooked up to appear as one drive. They were using Windows XP and it actually showed 1TB and Leo said It displays it as a terabyte so Windows is already ready. He also said you can tell you grandchildren where you seen the first terabyte drive on the Screensnickers.
I only seen that episode one time when it first aired in the early 2000s but have always remembered it. I'd like to find it but haven't been able to. I figured it wouldn't be that hard to find since it was the first TB drive that most people ever saw.
*edit I tweeted to Leo Laporte and asked if he remembers it since you can do that kind of stuff nowadays in this crazy future we live in! Hopefully he'll reply back.

I couldn't find it. There are a lot of episodes on Youtube, you will have to watch everyone of them to find it. Every minute of them!

Lol I've already thought of that. I mean I'd really like to see it again, but I guess not THAT bad.Dr. Zoidberg wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 4:27 pm I couldn't find it. There are a lot of episodes on Youtube, you will have to watch everyone of them to find it. Every minute of them!

Here is another clip I remember from when it originally aired. Yoshi's Box! It seemed so awesome back then. One thing I immediately didn't like about it though was that he didn't include the Dreamcast. I'm guess the reason it doesn't have a DC is because it is top loading. But yeah it really seemed cool back then. Looking at it now, eh not so much. I'm not trying to take any points away for Yoshi. I'm sure it was a pain getting that all in there but it is pretty sloppily done.
Every system in their except the Xbox can be fully emulated now on a mid-range machine.

Ah yes, Yoshi's Box
That blew my mind back in the day, I didn't know something like that was even possible. Even back in 2002, the NES and VCS were a bit overkill with a decent PC and Xbox in the same case.
I wish I could still buy mammoth cases like that. Maybe not in gun metal though, I'd prefer a nice painted black.

I started to go down the TechTV rabbit hole and found this segment. First, that Rackspace commercial is etched in my brain. And second, look at all that shit she has in her bag. Portable technology makes me happy that I live in the future, looking through all those pockets gave me a headache.
