It’s glitches like that which take away a lot of the fun in speed running. It’s no longer feels like a game, but rather...I don’t know...programming a result, I guess. It’s the same with Super Mario World and Ocarina of Time. Incredibly fascinating, sure. But it destroys the skill in playing the game.

Oh WTF, I missed it!? Damnit, I didn’t even know he won the contest, let alone won it at a marathon. I’m curious if the contest is still going until the end of ESA, or if they are sticking with the ‘ends the moment 1:38 is achieved’ rule.
