this kinda fits in here but my 360 refuses to reconize any discs & now has decided not to even open the tray, should be able to get Fable out with the manual eject, which baffled me until I saw the instruction said remove the faceplate to get at the manual eject (why it wasnt just on the front of the machine is beyond me) anyone got ideas to try to get it going again other than take it off to get fixed somewhere? not looking forward to what that may cost. Local charity shop I do my bit in has a 60GB model in atm so if I can just swap the HDD from my Elite onto that it should be fine right? as a worst case needing a replacement unit that is, hopefully it wont come to that but who knows?
Failing all that I'd have to hope my games are on the xbone compatible list & hunt a cheap one of them I guess

You can swap the hard drive from one 360 to another. It's probably cheaper to get second hand 360 than getting it repaired if it is dead.

well that bit to hit cant be found so I'm trying to get into the machine to see if it can be sorted but 1 clip refuses to undo, can hardly find the damned thing. Hmm bit more swearing & such & the clip came out, odd.

I'm close to sending it through the damn window now, everytime I'm close to getting the clips off & have 1 left the others snap back, it cant be done

well I got the game out now at least, still wont read any discs no matter what I've tried so far though, guess after about 10 years of use it may be partially dead

well so far the new (old) unit is working out so it seems I have a nice full replacement for 20 quid at this rate, cheaper than a second hand one anywhere else, just hope all keeps working
