Forgive my ignorance, but are spiders that size that common coming into houses? If so, my cats want to move there immediately to eat spiders you can make a meal out of.

They are. That spider in the tweet is just a Huntsman, which is harmless. At our old house we used to get them inside all of the time. I'd used a DVD spindle lid to put them outside.

According to Wikipedia, the US does have them in the South. My cats would be in heaven since they love eating spiders a quarter of that size.

At least she can pull her dog. Try that with a Husky that was bred pull heavy things long distances. It's like playing tug of war when the dog doesn't want to go somewhere.
