People from my work got free corporate box tickets. At least there's some perks to my job.Iced Coffee Man wrote:I went to the Iron Maiden concert last night.

I'm gonna write an angry letter to David Teoh
I think Freddie wanted to do a disco/R&B album. John Deacon liked soul/R&B music too so I'd imagine they pushed to make the record. Another one bites the dust success in the US was another reason why they switched gears. Under Pressure is on the album so it's worth getting for that alone. Also did you get the 2cd remasters or the original pressings?. I think there's mixed views on the remaster since sometimes remaster = brickwalling, ie turn the volume up to 11 and destroy the albums original mix in preference for today's production techniques.OrangeRibbon wrote:Queen Flash Gordon, Hot Space, The Works.
How the hell did Hot Space freaking happen. I know a couple tracks became concert main stays and were pretty good when they were rearranged. (AKA loose the damn Synths)
I have been getting the remasters. They are actually pretty good. I think nothing happens to Queen without Brain at the helm honestly.Big Boss Man wrote:I think Freddie wanted to do a disco/R&B album.
